About Tanning

Indoor Tanning. Sun, The Smart Way.

The main advantage of tanning indoors is the reduced risk of contracting a sunburn. That’s because indoor tanning units use a carefully controlled dosage of ultraviolet light in each session. Your successive session times are engineered to deliver tanning results while minimizing your risk of sunburn.

We control your tanning environment to give you the tan you desire while reducing your risk of sunburn. We take pride in properly evaluating your skin type and tanning you in a responsible way.

We do NOT Promote UNLIMITED Tanning.

We believe moderation is the key to maintaining healthy skin inside and out. While building your color, every other day or two is best. Once you achieve your desired color, you can maintain it by tanning once or twice a week.

Always Tan Responsibly.

For those who weigh the risk/benefit of UV exposure, indoor tanning facilities provide a controlled environment for obtaining a cosmetic ton, responsibly and in moderation. Exposure is delivered according to individual skin type and with a timing system that reduces the risk of overexposure and sunburn.

It elevates your sense of well-being. Look Good, Feel Good. Get a Tan!

By controlling the type and amount of UV light you receive in our salon, there’s no doubt that this is the best, most innovative place to acquire a tan. But there are some precautions you should take to maximize your enjoyment of your tanning visit:

1. Redder isn’t better

The reddish or pinkish tint you see is sunburn – your skin’s worst enemy. The fact is the sunburns we experience due to lack of information when we are growing up are the very things that lead to skin damage later in life

2. Protect your eyes

Simply closing them is not adequate protection against possible long-term eye injury. Goggles are a must.

3. Protect your lips

They don’t produce melanin and will burn easily. Wear lip balm or sunscreen.

4. Medications

If you are taking any, please let us know. Some can cause reactions with UV light.

5. Unexposed areas

Gradually increase exposure, covering those areas majority of the time, giving the skin time to build melanin production.

6. Using a professional indoor tanning lotion is important!

A professional indoor lotion will provide you with 60+% of the UV rays from the unit. By not using a lotion, your dry skin will reflect the rays giving you only 15-20% of the UV rays. The professional lotion also puts back in the moisture & nutrients tanning removes.
